  Godwin chidera Basil born 13th May 2003 stage name  Spylex  is a fast rising Nigerian Afro-Pop singer, songwriter, trumpeter and artiste. spylex  started his music journey when he released “Too Good” in 2019 featuring “Young Hero” and “Yaroon” produced by “Real J” one of Taraba renowned producers who produced for Patoranking, Charlee Nathan and lot more. At a young age spylex have proved that he is ready and have gotten acceptance by the younger generation. During his high school days spylex studied at Anglican Comprehensive High School Jalingo and currently an undergraduate student of Taraba State University. Although his first single was officially reeleased in 2019, he started music in 2016. Spylex has composed a lot of songs during his high school days and is still composing many more.
